OIL SIGHT GLASS TEPRO
Made of clear, solid, impact resistant acrylic glass. Heat resistant to 90 ° C Special type "M"
for MAKROLON for temperatures up to 130 ° C.The outer edge of the sight glass has a groove with a conical bottom. In this groove is seated
an O-ring.The O-ring employed in the housing wall of sight glass seals this off properly and does also self-locking against being pushed out. In a housing wall, you need only one
smooth, somewhat summed area. An outward processing or countersink wall of the housing is unnecessary. An overpressure in the housing up to about 0.6 atm is allowed. When using
greater pressures, it is recommended to use sight glasses of 50, 75 and 100 mm, and an embossed locking ring, which is fixed with three screws (see model 242/T-Si).
Oil sight glasses up to size 38.1 come with a white reflector. From size 50, the light is usually so strong that a reflector is not necessary. If desired, the reflector can be included and
mounted at the provided place. An oil level mark, a 2 mm wide oil proof red stripe, can be applied in silkscreen. A protective film guards from damage during assembly.
The flow indicator is used with oil lubrication under pressure for flow control. The semispherical,outer wall of the device shows an excellent sight glass to check oil level in
alongside.
